25th EUPHOREA Meeting in Budapest | 3-4 April 2025
The 2025 EUPHOREA Spring Meeting will take place in Budapest! Our Hungarian hosts Drs. László Hetzman and Róbert Gebei, are cordially inviting you to the Hungarian Air Ambulance situated in Budaörs, in the outskirts of the Hungarian capital Budapest.
The two-day meeting will take place on Thursday, April 3rd and Friday, April 4th. In addition, our hosts have invited those who have the opportunity to stay an extra night to an 'extracurricular' Dannube River Cruise Dinner on the evening of Wednesday, April 2nd!
Please mark the dates in your calendar, and additional information, program and a link for registration will be provided as we approach the meeting.
Venue:
I am delighted to share with you the preliminary program for the Budapest meeting. It will take place at the central headquarters of the Hungarian Ambulance Service in downtown Budapest: Mentőpalota (Rescue Palace), Marko Street 22, 1055 Budapest.
Accommodation:
Regarding accommodation, Hotel T62, which is located in the vicinity of the EUPHOREA meeting venue, might be a viable option for your stay. The hotel has confirmed that they still have plenty of rooms available.
Transportation:
The Hungarian Air Ambulance has kindly offered to arrange transportation from the meeting venue to their Headquarters in Budaőrs after the program concludes on Thursday, April 3rd. In the hangar, we will once again be able to enjoy the long-awaited Hungarian Hangar Goulash – as always, prepared by “Chef” Balázs!

Important information about the Danube River Cruise:
Everyone is invited to join us for a Danube River Cruise, including dinner, on the evening of Wednesday, April 2nd. Our hosts are working to secure funds for this event; however, if funding is not achieved, which is a likely outcome, this will be considered an extracurricular event with individual costs. Thank you for your understanding! The cruise with dinner starts at approx. 18:00 and will cost approx. €100 per person. For the sake of organizing the river cruise, it is crucial that you register as soon as possible, at the latest Thursday March 20.
EUPHOREA principles:
I wish to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the fundamental principles behind the existence of EUPHOREA. There are no membership fees or other binding costs associated with participating in EUPHOREA – each participant is simply responsible for covering their own expenses. This approach ensures that any organization wishing to host a meeting can do so without imposing any financial burden on their service. Initially, it was also intended that each participant would cover their own expenses for meals, whereas the host would cover the venue. However, over time it seems to have become a “tradition” for the host to cover both the meeting venue and meals throughout the two-day meeting. Please note that this remains a voluntary offer, not an obligation.
